 This panel will examine the global trends of social media manipulation, the legal and private self-regulatory responses currently being developed to address these challenges, who is trying to undermine Canadian elections, and what to expect during Canada's 2019 elections.

West Coast security and intelligence perspectives are collated and packaged in the form of discussion points, focus group data, post event surveys and practitioner take-aways from roundtable events. 

Providing an interdisciplinary forum through which interested academics, practitioners and other interested persons may engage in matters relating to intelligence, security and other geo-strategic concerns.


Encouraging research in intelligence and security in the interest of higher education, scholarship and an informed public opinion.
